Studies suggest that consuming omega-3 fatty acids can help to stimulate new hair growth & strengthen the hair follicles. Omega-3 supplements, most commonly taken in the form of fish oil, can support overall well-being from internal health functions such as immune system response, to external health benefits like healthy hair, skin, and nail growth.
But what most people don’t know is that fish don’t naturally produce Omega-3s, but rather they obtain it from algae, which is the original & most potent source of Omega-3. Not to mention, the fish oil supplement industry is disrupting precious ocean ecosystems via the commercial fishing of herring and krill they use to produce their supplements.
The answer to a healthier you and a healthier planet lies with iwi algae. Sustainably sourced, Non-GMO, 100% Vegan algae that results in the highest quality Omega-3 supplements available on earth.

I want to be able to watch my little human grow up to love & enjoy the ocean that I've enjoyed all of my life, and @myiwilife is helping to make that possible. iWi provides me with all the Omega-3s I need to stay healthy AND they're doing it with sustainable, plant-based methods. I recently watched a documentary where they were literally sucking fish out of the ocean with a vacuum to create Omega-3 supplements, and that really opened my eyes. I'm a huge fan of iWi - it's better for you & the planet too! #iwilife #myiwilife #plantbased #mindhealth #saveouroceans

I’ve been using @myiwilife algae oil for years and it is hands down the best Omega-3 supplement out there 🙌🏾 Omega-3s are a pretty fundamental supplement but the most notable benefits for athletes are: decreasing inflammation, muscle soreness and muscle damage. What makes iWi Omega-3 special? Not only is this algae oil #vegan, but it also provides 50% more absorption than fish or krill oil without the fishy aftertaste… so your body is truly getting the benefit of every drop!! 🌱💚💪🏾 It’s algae nutrition that’s better for you and the planet too. If you’e looking to boost your Omega-3 intake, I HIGHLY recommend iWi Omega-3 #plantbased #sponsored
Both fish and krill actually get their Omega-3’s from algae - algae is the original source. So not only does sourcing Omega-3 from algae eliminate overfishing & the disruption of ocean ecosystems, but it also results in higher bioavailability.
iwi Omega-3 offers 50% more absorption than fish or krill oil Omega-3s - But why? And what does this actually mean? The reason for our higher absorption rate is because our Nannochloropsis algae oil is the only known source in the world that is available in a polar lipid form, with both phospholipids and glycolipids, making it highly soluble in water and easily absorbed by the human body. Whereas fish oil (available in triglyceride form only) and krill oil (with phospholipids) both lack this water solubility, and thus the human body is capable of absorbing very little of it as compared to iwi algae-based Omega-3.
iwi was founded on the premise that people should be able to reap the benefits of nature without doing any harm to the environment. Our goal is to provide a new, sustainable approach to nutrition and food cultivation; to feed our global community while protecting our planet. We put our customers – and our world – at the center of everything that we do. iwi exists to help you live better from the inside out, because better living begins within.
